8 years ago today, I married my best friend. 7 years ago this week, we were sealed for Time and all Eternity in the Vernal Temple, with our precious little girl. I can honestly say, I have never been happier in my marriage. It seems that we made it through the struggles of college, having kids, being extremely poor, finding a good job, house, car, etc. It really feels like I was holding my breath for almost 7 years, and now I can exhale. Now, we feel like an old married couple just starting the life of Soccer Mom and Boy Scout Leader Dad. (which I am not a soccer mom and G.J. is not in scouts, but you get the picture!) We are still not rich, and I know we will still have trials, but with a wonderful husband by my side, and through the growth and progress we have made these past 8 years, I hope from here on out it will be easier.

(p.s. I know we were both super young, and it shows in those pictures. I think I look somewhat the same now(besides the extra 50 lbs I have on me! I think G.J. looks like a little boy in those pictures!!! I guess 8 years married to me has aged him into a handsome older looking man!)
