Stuck.

I don’t know if I have ever blogged about how claustrophobic I am. I hate to be stuck in too small of places. I hate getting really hot and stuffy and that terrible “trapped” feeling. I hardly ever wear socks because they squeeze my feet. I rarely, if ever wear a coat because I get all hot and bothered and would rather go cold.
It is so funny because G.J.’s mom thinks that I don’t have a coat, and that is why I don’t wear one. So guess what I get for Christmas EVERY YEAR….yep, a coat. What’s worse is that she usually gets a wooly dress coat that is itchy, hot, and makes me sweat to even look at it.
O.K….now that I have convinced all my blog readers even further that I am a psycho, I have a small story. Today I was shopping for my G.J.’s Mom’s birthday present. Speaking of January birthdays, we have 12 in our family (my grandpa, my cousin, 2 sister in laws, 2 nieces, my brother, my dad, my husband, my son, my aunt, my mother-in law) it is terrible…too many birthdays. Anyways so here I was shopping at a local store. I was waiting for the incredibly ditzy girl to wrap the present I had found. She was taking FOREVER, so I decided to try on some of the jewelry at the counter. Well, there was a super cute set of 3 rings (like the picture above, except there were 3 separate ones). So I put them on. I have very small fingers (wedding ring size 4), so I didn’t even look at the size.
Well, wrong for me…they were WAY too small. They slipped ON my finger very easily, but I could not get them OFF with all my might. G.J. called my cell phone, and told me he was outside waiting. The girl was almost done wrapping, and still… the rings would not budge. By this time I was sweating profusely, feeling nauseous, and didn’t know what to do without making a fool of myself. She came to show me the gift, I hid my hand, and asked her to add a bow (dumb girl… all gifts need a bow) giving myself a little more time. The rings finally came off. I hurried and grabbed the gift, said thank you and out I went…
Yep, I’m not trying on rings ever again…lesson learned.
