Fall is Fun :)

My baby girl turned 12 on the 28th of September. It was the most bittersweet, surreal, special day ever. Her turning 12 has suddenly made me feel SO old....and a bit overwhelmed with how fast time truly does fly!

She had a great birthday. She thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of it. She loved going in to Young Womens that Sunday. We also had the most special opportunity of going to the temple for the first time to do baptisms. She was so cute, excited, and reverent- and it was a very special day!! Now that I am in YW, we get to go do baptisms every other Tuesday at 5:50 am What a pleasure and honor it is to be in the house of the lord that often with my baby girl and sometimes G.J. when he comes!

She was spoiled by everyone!
Sophie is a little fashionista! She really wanted to try on Hallie's new shirt!

 In other news:

Hallie and Gavin attended the Brigham City Temple dedication with G.J. and I. It was so cute to see their awe and excitement.

Kayler has had 4 different Dr. visits in the SLC area. We stayed with my brother and his family once, and baby Kenny LOVED Kayler...he seriously belly laughed/giggled at every thing Kayler did.

My Grandpa and Grandma Stewart's dog Lacy died. I will admit it...I cried. They got her over 15 years ago...and we had grown to love her. She has played with all of their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Hallie and Alli thought it was a must to do a funeral with some of the cousins....My poor Grandpa cried and cried...It was seriously heart wrenching.

Little man is still...STILL obsessed with Vegetables. People have been so unhelpful kind by bringing us their over grown vegetables!

He had his tonsils out at Primary Children's last Friday. Recovery has gone OK....

We took Hallie and Gavin to the new Scheels store in Sandy(awesome-yet very expensive), and Lagoon while we were out in SLC for Kayler's surgery. They loved every minute of it! On the ride home, our car hit 77777 miles...I had to take a picture!

And finally, my parents took Kayler and Kolby fishing. I asked Kayler how many they caught...He told me 9 or 20, he couldn't remember. My parents said it was more like 30 or 40...they caught one every cast. My kids are so lucky to have a fisherman for a Grandpa!

Other than that, life is life. Fall is beautiful. We are mostly healthy, mostly happy....and at the end of the day, just grateful to be safe and sound as a family.

So I have been meaning to call you about your blog because all it has said is "I'm ready to Talk." Glad you finally have. YOu have been busy in such a good way. I hope Kayler is recovering well and you are doing well. I have missed ya. We need to get together soon.

Looks like lots of fun times! I am soooo glad you got some fun things in before that horrible surgery! I think Kayler has a special calling in life that has to do with babies. He's so cute with them! Looks and sounds like a fantastic birthday for Hallie girl too!
